Rudrabhishek Vidhi — At Home
Rudrabhishek — bathing the Shivling while reciting the Vedic Rudra hymn (Sri Rudram / Rudri) — is the most potent form of Shiva worship. It invokes Shiva in his Rudra (Ekadasha Rudra) form.
What Makes It Rudrabhishek?
A simple abhishek is just a bath with sacred liquids; in Rudrabhishek the abhishek is accompanied by the Rudri / Sri Rudram (the Namakam–Chamakam of the Yajurveda). Meditating on the eleven Rudra forms (Ekadasha Rudra) is what sets it apart.

Rudrabhishek Vidhi — Step by Step
Bathe, wear white/saffron, apply tripundra, and take the sankalp.
ॐ अपवित्रः पवित्रो वा...Invoke and honour Ganesha, the Kalash, and the Navagraha.
ॐ गं गणपतये नमःInvoke Rudra within Shiva (meditate on the Ekadasha Rudra).
ॐ नमो भगवते रुद्रायReciting the Rudri / Sri Rudram (or "Om Namah Shivaya"), abhishek in order: water → milk → curd → ghee → honey → sugar → water.
ॐ नमः शिवायOffer 108 bilvapatra with the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.
ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे...Offer white flowers, datura, sandalwood and bhasma; show incense and lamp.
ॐ नमः शिवायConclude with Shiva aarti and pradakshina; take the abhishek water as prasad.
