📋 For accurate results:
- Keep your palm fully open and flat
- Take the photo in good lighting (natural light is best)
- Hold palm close to camera — lines should be visible
- Use a solid-colour background (white/black)
🔬 How does it work?
AI detects 21 hand landmarks using MediaPipe — entirely on your device
Geometry estimates the classical line regions and mounts from hand proportions — an honest approximation, not a crease scan
Interpretation follows Hasta Samudrika Shastra — offered for self-reflection
🪔 Understand your palm reading — simply
Palmistry is a traditional way of reading the shapes on your palm as a mirror of your nature — a conversation starter with yourself, not a fortune machine.
- Your heart line is about how you love and connect — not about how long you live.
- Your head line shows how you think and decide — fast, deep, or full of imagination.
- Your life line is about energy and bounce-back — its length says nothing about lifespan.
- The mounts are the soft pads of the palm — tradition gives each one a planet’s flavour, like Jupiter for confidence and Moon for imagination.
- Lines change slowly over the years as you change — a reading is today’s photo, not a fixed future.
Think of your palm like the rings of a tree: they record how you have grown so far — they do not command how you must grow next.
What to do with this reading
- Pick the one line reading that felt most familiar, and note one habit that may have shaped it.
- Choose one gentle theme from your reading — patience, expression, rest — and practise it for a week.
- Return to your palm after a year: notice what shifted in the fine lines, and what shifted in you.
How to read this — and how not to
Hasta Samudrika Shastra — the classical Indian study of the hand — is part of the wider Samudrika tradition of reading the body’s features. It treats the palm as a mirror of temperament and tendency: a map for self-knowledge, drawn afresh as the person grows.
- This tool reads geometric proxies — hand proportions and landmark positions estimated from one photo. It approximates where the classical lines run; it does not scan the fine creases themselves.
- Palm lines are not fixed. The minor lines visibly shift over the years as habits, health and mind change — a reading is a snapshot of today, not a verdict on forever.
- The Life Line does not predict lifespan. Responsible palmists today firmly reject that reading — the line is taken to speak of vitality and resilience, and no honest palmist will tell you the years of a life from it.
- Palmistry (Hasta Samudrika) is a traditional interpretive art offered here for self-reflection — not a science, a diagnosis or a prediction of events. No marking on the palm is a verdict: a “broken” line is a change of chapter, never a sentence passed on you.
- Use this reading alongside — never instead of — your own judgement and, for life decisions, qualified guidance. Palmistry complements a Janam Kundali; it replaces neither the chart nor common sense.
