Hasta Samudrika Shastra — the classical Indian study of the hand — is part of the wider Samudrika tradition of reading the body’s features. It treats the palm as a mirror of temperament and tendency: a map for self-knowledge, drawn afresh as the person grows.

This tool does not measure any line or mount. If you add a photo, an on-device model locates your hand and draws a map of where the classical lines and mounts lie; every reading here comes from the features you mark yourself.

Can palm lines predict lifespan?

No. Responsible palmists today reject reading the years of a life from the Life Line — in today’s understanding the line speaks of vitality and resilience, not of years. Treat any lifespan claim made from a palm as a warning sign about the palmist.

Do palm lines change over time?

Yes — the minor lines visibly shift over the years as habits, health and mind change. A reading is a snapshot of today, which is why the tradition treats it as self-reflection rather than fixed destiny.

Which hand should I read?

It never gives dates, lifespan, illness or the outcome of a relationship, and doshas (Manglik, Kaal Sarp, Sade Sati) are read from your Janam Kundali, not the palm.

Why do you ask me to look at my own palm instead of reading it from the photo?

A phone photo and a hand-landmark model can locate the regions of the palm, but they cannot reliably see the fine creases — breaks, chains, forks. Your own eyes in daylight can. So the honest reading is the one built from what you see; the photo only draws the map.
