User Conduct & Content Policy

VedKosh (“VedKosh”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a devotional platform, and the peace of that space depends on every visitor. This User Conduct & Content Policy (the “Policy”) sets the rules for every piece of information a user submits to VedKosh. It supplements — and is incorporated into — our Terms of Service; the Terms’ definitions, disclaimers, limitation of liability (Terms §14), indemnification (Terms §15) and governing-law clauses (Terms §17) apply to this Policy in full. This Policy applies to vedkosh.com, the VedKosh Android app, and any affiliated platform operated by the VedKosh team that links to this Policy.

This Policy covers every place on VedKosh where you can enter, upload or send something, including:

• Your account and profile — your name, gender, birth details, nationality, preferred language, phone number and WhatsApp preference.
• Astrology tools — names, birth dates, times and places entered into Janam Kundali, Kundali Milan and our other Vedic tools, including details of another person (a partner, a child, a family member).
• Feedback and ratings — likes, dislikes, star ratings and any written comment you attach to them.
• VedAI and AI Hast Rekha — every question, prompt or photo you submit to our AI features.
• Messages to us — email to our contact address and anything you send through pages on this site.
• Any future feature that accepts user input, from the moment it launches.

You are solely and fully responsible for everything you submit. By submitting anything to VedKosh you confirm that it is truthful, that it is lawful, that it is yours to share, and that it follows this Policy. VedKosh publishes and curates devotional content editorially; we do not pre-review user submissions, and responsibility for a submission rests with the person who made it — not with VedKosh. This does not limit any right we describe in section 9.

• Use your real name, presented respectfully. Your name is how you appear on your account and, where applicable, on reports generated for you.
• Name fields are limited in length (currently up to 40 characters for a first name and 60 for a last name) and may be shortened for display. Names may not contain web addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, promotional text or repeated symbols.
• Never impersonate anyone — not another person, not a public figure, and never VedKosh, its team, moderators or administrators. Names such as “VedKosh Admin”, “VedKosh Support” or similar are reserved and will be removed or reset.
• We may ask you to change, or may ourselves reset, a name that violates this section.

VedKosh is a space of Sanatana Dharma, and everyone is welcome to read, learn and worship here. What we ask of every user, everywhere on the platform, is simple respect:

• No abuse, harassment, threats or bullying of any person.
• No hateful, obscene, vulgar or sexually explicit language.
• No content that insults, mocks or inflames any deity, religion, community, caste or group. Reverence for the sacred — and courtesy toward people — are conditions of using VedKosh.
• No deliberate misinformation presented as scripture, ritual instruction or astrological fact.

Some VedKosh tools work with another person's details — for example Kundali Milan needs a partner's name and birth details. When you enter information about anyone other than yourself, you confirm that you have that person's permission (or, for a minor in your care, the right) to use it. Do not submit anyone else's personal details — names, contact details, birth details, photographs or private facts — in comments, prompts or messages without their consent. We treat third-party details you enter exactly as described in our Privacy Policy, but the responsibility for having permission to enter them is yours.

Do not submit, anywhere on VedKosh:

• Anything unlawful under Indian law or the law of your jurisdiction, or that encourages unlawful acts.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark or any third-party right (see Terms §8 for how rights-holders can reach us).
• Spam, advertising, commercial solicitation, referral links or repeated identical submissions.
• Malicious code, deceptive links, or attempts to probe, overload or bypass our technical protections (Terms §4).
• Content promoting any religion, ideology or product in ways that exploit our Hindu devotional platform (Terms §4 and §12).

Everything in sections 3–7 applies to what you type into VedAI and what you upload to AI Hast Rekha. In addition: do not attempt to make our AI features generate content that violates this Policy, and remember that AI Output is guidance, not a scriptural ruling — you remain responsible for how you use it (Terms §6 and our Disclaimer).

To keep VedKosh safe and worthy of the content it carries, we may at our discretion, with or without notice: review, refuse, edit for display, hide or remove any user submission; reset a name or profile field that violates section 4; restrict, suspend or terminate access to features or accounts for violations of this Policy or the Terms; preserve and disclose submissions where required by law, and report unlawful content or conduct to the appropriate authorities. We aim to act proportionately — an honest mistake is treated differently from deliberate abuse.

VedKosh is under no obligation to publish, display, retain or return any user submission. Feedback and comments are used as described in Terms §7 (you grant us a licence to use feedback to improve the Service; we do not pay for it and do not publicly attribute it). Removal of a submission is not an admission that it was unlawful.

If you see a name, comment or other user content on VedKosh that violates this Policy — or if someone has submitted your personal details without your consent — email contact [at] vedkosh [dot] com with the page URL and a short description. We prioritise conduct reports and aim to review them promptly — normally within a few days — and we treat reports that someone submitted your personal details without consent with priority.

The warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability in Terms §14 and the indemnification in Terms §15 apply to this Policy as if set out here. In short: you agree to hold VedKosh harmless from claims arising out of what you submit, and VedKosh is not liable for user submissions or for the consequences of relying on them.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, exactly as in Terms §17.

You accept this Policy when you create a VedKosh account (the acceptance checkbox names it), when you tap “I Agree” in a prompt before submitting content, or by continuing to submit content after this page is updated. Each version of this Policy carries a version date (shown at the top of this page), and when you accept it we record the date, time and version you accepted. We may revise this Policy from time to time; material changes will be flagged at the top of this page and will trigger a fresh “I Agree” prompt, recorded as a new acceptance of the new version.
