VedCoins Policy
Version 2026-08 · Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. What VedCoins are — and are not
VedCoins are promotional loyalty points issued by VedKosh. They are not money, not currency, not a deposit, not a wallet balance and not a payment instrument of any kind. They have no cash value.
- VedCoins can never be purchased — there is no way to buy coins with money, and there never will be under this program.
- VedCoins can never be converted to money — no withdrawal, transfer, cash-out, refund, bank, UPI or wallet path exists, in any country.
- VedCoins are non-transferable: they belong to the signed-in account that earned them and cannot be gifted, pooled, sold or moved to another account.
- VedCoins are usable only on VedKosh, only for the specific items VedKosh designates as coin-eligible (Section 5).
2. Earning VedCoins
A signed-in user can collect coins from the coin button shown on the home page and on the listed section pages (for example Aarti, Chalisa, Bhajan, Mantras, Stotram, Gita, Ramayan, Festivals, Pooja Vidhi, Rashifal, Panchang, Tools, Kids Stories, Baby Names and Yatra). Individual content pages do not award coins.
- Home page: 5 VedCoins per day. The home page counts once across all languages.
- Each listed section page: 2 VedCoins per day.
- One collection per page per day. The day renews at 4:30 AM IST; after renewal every listed page can be collected again.
- Daily limit: 15 VedCoins. Once 15 coins have been collected in a day, no further coins can be collected until the 4:30 AM IST renewal. If fewer than a page's coins remain under the limit, only the remaining coins are credited — for example, at 14 of 15, a 2-coin page credits exactly 1 coin and the daily limit is reached.
- Collecting requires a signed-in VedKosh account. VedKosh may decline, cap or reverse collection where automation, multiple-account abuse or other manipulation is detected (Section 8).
3. Weekly doubling bonus
To thank consistent daily visitors, VedKosh doubles a faithful week's collection:
- A bonus week runs Monday to Sunday (days measured by the 4:30 AM IST renewal).
- A day counts as a qualifying day when at least 2 VedCoins were collected that day.
- If a week has at least 6 qualifying days out of 7, a bonus equal to 100% of all coins collected that week is credited — the week's collection is doubled.
- The bonus is credited Monday morning, shortly after the week closes at 4:30 AM IST. Weeks with 5 or fewer qualifying days receive no bonus.
- Bonus coins are ordinary VedCoins and follow the same expiry rule (Section 4). Bonus coins themselves do not count toward a later week's doubling — only collected coins do.
4. Expiry — 108 days
- Every VedCoin expires 108 days after the day it was collected (or, for bonus coins, after the day the bonus was credited), if unused.
- When coins are spent, the oldest coins are used first, so coins closest to expiry are always consumed before newer ones.
- Expired coins are removed from the balance automatically and shown as expired in the account's coin history. Expired coins cannot be restored.
- The VedCoins tab in your account shows the dated collection history, the weekly bonus record and coins expiring soon.
5. Using VedCoins (redemption)
Redemption opens with the first coin-eligible items; eligible items and their coin prices are shown at the point of use. Until an item is listed as coin-eligible, coins can be collected and held but not yet spent. The redemption rules below are binding from the start of the program:
- Redemption is a separate option, not a payment. Where an item is coin-eligible, VedKosh shows two independent options: buy it as a normal purchase, or redeem it with VedCoins. A coin redemption involves no money at any step, and a purchase involves no coins. The two options are never combined, compared or converted into each other.
- Coin prices are coin prices — nothing else. Every coin-eligible item shows one price expressed only in VedCoins (for example, "101 VedCoins"). Coin prices are set by VedKosh per item and may change. VedCoins are not money: they have no exchange rate and no money equivalent, and a coin price is never presented as a money amount, a discount or a saving.
- Full coin price only — never partial, never mixed. An item can be redeemed only when the coin balance covers its full coin price. If the balance is less, the item can only be obtained as a normal purchase. There is no partial redemption, no coin-plus-payment combination and no coin reduction on any purchase — ever.
- Never redeemable, regardless of balance: VedKosh membership plans (including VedKosh+), the Janam Kundali generator (its daily chart stays included; any additional Kundali is a money purchase only, never coins — note this is specific to the Kundali generator, and extra charts on the other astrology tools CAN be unlocked with coins, see Section 6), Ashta Koota / Guna Milan matching, and AstroChat / AI chat in all its variants.
- Coin redemptions are final and are never refundable to money. If VedKosh cancels a coin-redeemed item on its side, the coins are returned to the balance with their original expiry dates where feasible, or with a fresh 108-day expiry otherwise.
6. Daily tool allowance (related rule)
A signed-in account includes 1 birth-chart generation per day, shared across the astrology tools (re-opening a chart already generated does not consume the allowance).
- You can unlock one extra chart with VedCoins. The coin price is shown on the VedCoins tab in your account, and the extra chart is used automatically the next time you generate with an astrology tool. One extra chart is held at a time.
- The Janam Kundali generator is excluded (Section 5). Its daily chart stays included, but any additional Kundali is a normal purchase only, never VedCoins.
- AstroChat's daily message allowance is unchanged by this program.
7. Your account and your data
- VedCoins require a signed-in account. The program stores only what it needs: which listed page collected on which day, the amounts, the weekly settlement record and the dated coin history — no location, no device fingerprint, no browsing history.
- Coin records appear in your account data export and are permanently deleted with the account. Deleting an account forfeits its coin balance; forfeited coins are not restored on re-registration.
- See the Privacy Policy for the full data table.
8. Fair play
VedCoins reward genuine daily darshan. VedKosh may withhold, cap, reverse or void coins — and may suspend the account's participation in the program — where it finds automation (bots, scripts), multiple accounts operated to multiply collection, tampering with requests, or any other manipulation. Reversals are recorded in the coin history. Collecting coins never involves interacting with advertisements, and no coin is ever awarded for clicking an ad.
9. Program changes
VedCoins is a promotional program, not a contractual entitlement. VedKosh may change the earning rules, page list, caps, bonus rules, eligible items, coin prices or any other part of this program — or end the program — at any time. Changes apply prospectively: they take effect from the date the updated policy is published on this page (the version number above changes), and coins already in a balance keep the expiry dates they were issued with. If the program ends, remaining coins stay usable against then-eligible items for at least 30 days or until their own expiry, whichever comes first.
10. Where this policy sits
This policy is part of the VedKosh Terms of Service. Coin redemptions are also subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy (coin redemptions are never refundable to money). Questions: contact us.
