Lanka Kand Verse 47

(Devanagari)
Roman (IAST)
Meaning (English)

Angad's foot does not leave the ground, and the sight of this drains away the pride of all his foes — just as a saintly man's mind does not abandon righteous conduct even when assailed by a million obstacles. The simile captures both the steadfastness of Angad's foot and the moral steadfastness of the devoted.

Meaning (Hindi) ·
