Bala Kand Verse 163
भे भुवन घोर कठोर रव रबि बाजि तजि मारगु चले। चिक्करहिं दिग्गज डोल महि अहि कोल कूरुम कलमले॥ सुर असुर मुनि कर कान दीन्हें सकल बिकल बिचारहीं। कोदंड खंडेउ राम तुलसी जयति बचन उचारहीं॥
bhe bhuvana ghora kaṭhora rava rabi bāji taji māragu cale| cikkarahiṃ diggaja ḍola mahi ahi kola kūruma kalamale|| sura asura muni kara kāna dīnheṃ sakala bikala bicārahīṃ| kodaṃḍa khaṃḍeu rāma tulasī jayati bacana ucārahīṃ||

The worlds filled with fierce thunderous sound — the sun's horses left their path. The guardian elephants of the directions trumpeted, the earth shook, Shesha, Boar, and Tortoise trembled. Gods, demons, and sages clapped their ears and stood perplexed. Tulsidas says: when all were certain that Ram had broken the bow, they broke into shouts of 'Victory!'
घोर कठोर ध्वनि से सारे लोक भर गए — सूर्य के घोड़े मार्ग छोड़कर भाग चले। दिग्गज चिग्घाड़े, धरती काँपी, शेष, वाराह और कच्छप व्याकुल हो उठे। देवता, असुर और मुनि कानों पर हाथ रखे व्याकुल सोच में पड़ गए। तुलसीदास कहते हैं — जब सबको निश्चय हो गया कि राम ने धनुष तोड़ा, तब सब 'जयति' उचारने लगे।
