dekhi manahi maha~ kinha pranama baithehim biti jata nisi jama krisa tanu sisa jata eka beni japati hridaya~ raghupati guna shreni 4
Meaning (English)
Shree Hanuman offered silent reverence to Mother Sita in his heart. She sat there, passing the watches of the night — her body frail and wasted, her hair worn in a single unadorned braid — ceaselessly reciting within her heart the garland of Shree Raghupati's virtues.
Meaning (Hindi) · भावार्थ
श्री हनुमान् जी ने उन्हें मन-ही-मन प्रणाम किया। माता सीता जी रात के पहर बिताती हुई वहीं बैठी थीं — उनका शरीर दुबला-पतला था, सिर पर एक वेणी (बिना बनाई चोटी) थी और वे हृदय में श्री रघुपति के गुणों की माला जपती जा रही थीं।
