Meaning (English)
The poet (Tulsidas) observes: 'If a minister, a physician, and a teacher — these three — speak merely pleasing words out of fear or self-interest, then the kingdom, the body, and righteousness — these three — are swiftly destroyed.'
Meaning (Hindi) · भावार्थ
तुलसीदास जी कहते हैं — यदि मंत्री, वैद्य और गुरु ये तीन प्रिय लगने वाली, भय या लालच से प्रेरित बातें बोलने लगें तो राज्य, शरीर और धर्म — इन तीनों का शीघ्र नाश हो जाता है।
