बैठेउ सभाँ खबरि असि पाई। सिंधु पार सेना सब आई॥ बूझेसि सचिव उचित मत कहहू। ते सब हँसे मष्ट करि रहहू॥४॥

Meaning (English)
Ravana had just taken his seat in the assembly when news arrived that the entire army had crossed the ocean. He asked his ministers to give sound counsel; they all laughed and said, 'Stay carefree — there is nothing to worry about.'
Meaning (Hindi) · भावार्थ
रावण सभा में बैठा ही था कि समाचार आया कि समुद्र पार करके सारी सेना आ गई है। उसने मंत्रियों से उचित मत बताने को कहा तो वे सब हँसे और बोले — निश्चिंत रहो (मष्ट करि रहहू), कोई चिंता नहीं।
