गहइ छाहँ सक सो न उड़ाई। एहि बिधि सदा गगनचर खाई॥ सोइ छल हनूमान कहँ कीन्हा। तासु कपटु कपि तुरतहिं चीन्हा॥ २॥

gahai chāha~ saka so na uḍa़āī| ehi bidhi sadā gaganacara khāī|| soi chala hanūmāna kaha~ kīnhā| tāsu kapaṭu kapi turatahiṃ cīnhā|| 2||
Simple transliteration
gahai chaha~ saka so na uda़ai ehi bidhi sada gaganacara khai soi chala hanumana kaha~ kinha tasu kapatu kapi turatahim cinha 2
Meaning (English)
and, by seizing that shadow, she would immobilise the creature in mid-flight, devouring sky-dwellers in this manner without cease. She attempted this same trick upon Shree Hanuman, but the great Hanuman instantly saw through her deceit.
Meaning (Hindi) · भावार्थ
वह उस परछाईं को पकड़ लेती थी, जिससे वे उड़ नहीं सकते थे। इस प्रकार वह सदा आकाश में उड़ने वाले जीवों को खाया करती थी। उसने हनुमान् जी के साथ भी वही छल किया। हनुमान् जी ने तुरंत ही उसका कपट पहचान लिया।
