रहा न नगर बसन घृत तेला। बाढ़ी पूँछ कीन्ह कपि खेला॥ कौतुक कहुँ आए पुरबासी। मारहिं चरन करहिं बहु हाँसी॥ ३॥

Simple transliteration
raha na nagara basana ghrita tela badha़i pu~cha kinha kapi khela kautuka kahu~ ae purabasi marahim carana karahim bahu ha~si 3
Meaning (English)
All the cloth, ghee, and oil to be found in the city were brought forth and wound around his tail until it swelled ever larger, yet Shree Hanuman accepted this as no more than a playful diversion. Crowds of townspeople gathered to watch the spectacle, kicking him and indulging in loud mockery.
Meaning (Hindi) · भावार्थ
नगर में जितने भी वस्त्र, घी और तेल थे, वे सब लाकर पूँछ पर लपेट दिए गए — पूँछ और भी बड़ी हो गई और श्री हनुमान् जी ने इसे एक खेल की भाँति स्वीकार किया। नगर के बहुत-से लोग यह तमाशा देखने आ गए और श्री हनुमान् जी को लातें मारते तथा खूब हँसी-ठिठोली करते रहे।
