Meaning (English)

Shree Hanuman replied calmly — I entered the grove on the Lord's errand, ate fruit when I was hungry, and broke branches as is a monkey's nature. O master, every creature holds its own body most dear — the demons who, walking the path of wickedness, came to kill me were the first to raise their hands against me.

Meaning (Hindi) ·
