यह सब चरित कहा मैं गाई। आगिलि कथा सुनहु मन लाई॥ बिस्वामित्र महामुनि ग्यानी। बसहिं बिपिन सुभ आश्रम जानी॥

Meaning (English)
I have sung and told all these exploits — now listen with full attention to what comes next. The great sage Vishwamitra, endowed with all wisdom, lived in a chosen auspicious forest ashram.

यह सब चरित मैंने गाकर कहा — अब आगे की कथा मन लगाकर सुनो। महाज्ञानी महर्षि विश्वामित्र एक शुभ वन में आश्रम बनाकर रहते थे।
