या निशा सर्वभूतानां तस्यां जागर्ति संयमी। यस्यां जाग्रति भूतानि सा निशा पश्यतो मुनेः।।2.69।।
Roman (IAST)
yā niśā sarvabhūtānāṃ tasyāṃ jāgarti saṃyamī| yasyāṃ jāgrati bhūtāni sā niśā paśyato muneḥ||2.69||
Simple transliteration
ya nisha sarvabhutanam tasyam jagarti samyami yasyam jagrati bhutani sa nisha pashyato muneh2.69
Meaning
Meaning (English)
What is night for all beings is the time of awakening for the self-controlled, and what is the time of awakening for all beings is night for the introspective sage. The wise live in a different dimension of awareness.

जो सब प्राणियों के लिए रात (अज्ञान) है, उसमें संयमी जागता है। जिसमें सब प्राणी जागते हैं, वह तत्त्वदर्शी मुनि के लिए रात है।
