ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गस्तेषूपजायते।
सङ्गात्सञ्जायते कामः कामात्क्रोधोऽभिजायते।।2.62।।

dhyāyato viṣayānpuṃsaḥ saṅgasteṣūpajāyate|
saṅgātsañjāyate kāmaḥ kāmātkrodho'bhijāyate||2.62||

dhyayato vishayanpumsah sangasteshupajayate
sangatsanjayate kamah kamatkrodho'bhijayate2.62
Meaning
Meaning (English)

Krishna describes the downward spiral: When a person dwells on sense objects, attachment to them arises. From attachment springs desire, and from desire comes anger.

विषयों का चिन्तन करने वाले पुरुष को उनमें आसक्ति होती है, आसक्ति से कामना उत्पन्न होती है और कामना से क्रोध उत्पन्न होता है।
