तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः।
वशे हि यस्येन्द्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता।।2.61।।
Roman (IAST)
tāni sarvāṇi saṃyamya yukta āsīta matparaḥ|
vaśe hi yasyendriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣṭhitā||2.61||
Simple transliteration
tani sarvani samyamya yukta asita matparah
vashe hi yasyendriyani tasya prajna pratishthita2.61
Meaning
Meaning (English)

Having restrained all the senses, one should sit in meditation, focused on the Supreme. One whose senses are under control has steady wisdom.

उन सभी इन्द्रियों को वश में करके मुझमें परायण होकर (समाधिस्थ होकर) बैठना चाहिए। जिसकी इन्द्रियाँ वश में हैं, उसकी प्रज्ञा स्थिर रहती है।
