यावानर्थ उदपाने सर्वतः सम्प्लुतोदके।
तावान्सर्वेषु वेदेषु ब्राह्मणस्य विजानतः।।2.46।।
Roman (IAST)
yāvānartha udapāne sarvataḥ samplutodake|
tāvānsarveṣu vedeṣu brāhmaṇasya vijānataḥ||2.46||
Simple transliteration
yavanartha udapane sarvatah samplutodake
tavansarveshu vedeshu brahmanasya vijanatah2.46
Meaning
Meaning (English)

To a self-realized person, all the Vedas are as useful as a small well when there is a flood of water everywhere. One who knows Brahman has fulfilled the purpose of all scriptures.

Meaning (Hindi) · अर्थ

जितना प्रयोजन एक छोटे से जलाशय से होता है, उससे कहीं अधिक प्रयोजन चारों ओर से जलप्लावित हो जाने पर होता है। उसी प्रकार तत्त्व जानने वाले ब्राह्मण के लिए सभी वेद उतने ही उपयोगी हैं।
