भोगैश्वर्यप्रसक्तानां तयापहृतचेतसाम्।
व्यवसायात्मिका बुद्धिः समाधौ न विधीयते।।2.44।।

bhogaiśvaryaprasaktānāṃ tayāpahṛtacetasām|
vyavasāyātmikā buddhiḥ samādhau na vidhīyate||2.44||

Meaning (English)

Those deeply attached to pleasure and power, whose minds are carried away by such flowery promises, cannot attain the resolute determination needed for meditation on the Supreme.

भोग और ऐश्वर्य में आसक्त और उस वाणी द्वारा चित्त हर लिए गए लोगों में परमात्मा में स्थित होने वाली निश्चयात्मक बुद्धि नहीं होती।
