विद्याविनयसम्पन्ने ब्राह्मणे गवि हस्तिनि।
शुनि चैव श्वपाके च पण्डिताः समदर्शिनः।।5.18।।

vidyāvinayasampanne brāhmaṇe gavi hastini|
śuni caiva śvapāke ca paṇḍitāḥ samadarśinaḥ||5.18||

vidyavinayasampanne brahmane gavi hastini

Meaning
Meaning (English)

A truly wise person sees with equal vision a learned and humble sage, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and even an outcaste. This vision of equality comes from seeing the one Self in all beings.

(ऐसे वे) ज्ञानीजन विद्या और विनय से सम्पन्न ब्राह्मण, तथा गाय, हाथी, श्वान और चाण्डाल में भी सम तत्त्व को देखते हैं।
