Mahalaxmi Ashtakam — Complete Text
Verse १
नमस्तेऽस्तु महामाये श्रीपीठे सुरपूजिते। शंखचक्रगदाहस्ते महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O Mahamaya, worshipped by gods on the sacred seat, holding conch, discus and mace — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
Verse २
नमस्ते गरुडारूढे कोलासुरभयंकरि। सर्वपापहरे देवि महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O Goddess riding on Garuda, terror of Kolasura, remover of all sins — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
Verse ३
सर्वज्ञे सर्ववरदे सर्वदुष्टभयंकरि। सर्वदुःखहरे देवि महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O all-knowing one, granter of all boons, terror of the wicked, remover of all sorrows — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
Verse ४
सिद्धिबुद्धिप्रदे देवि भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदायिनि। मन्त्रमूर्ते सदा देवि महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O bestower of accomplishment and wisdom, giver of both enjoyment and liberation, ever-mantra-embodied — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
Verse ५
आद्यन्तरहिते देवि आद्यशक्तिमहेश्वरि। योगजे योगसम्भूते महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O Goddess without beginning or end, primordial Shakti Maheshvari, born of yoga — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
Verse ६
स्थूलसूक्ष्ममहारौद्रे महाशक्तिमहोदरे। महापापहरे देवि महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O Goddess of gross and subtle forms, great fierce one, great power, great destroyer of grave sins — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
Verse ७
पद्मासनस्थिते देवि परब्रह्मस्वरूपिणि। परमेशि जगन्माता महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O Goddess seated on the lotus, embodiment of the Supreme Brahman, ruler of all, mother of the universe — salutation to Mahalakshmi.

श्वेताम्बरधरे देवि नानालंकारभूषिते। जगत्स्थिते जगन्माता महालक्ष्मी नमोऽस्तुते॥
O Goddess wearing white garments, adorned with many ornaments, abiding in the universe, mother of the world — salutation to Mahalakshmi.
