Meaning (English)
The tender new leaves seem to scorch like tongues of fire, the night feels as terrifying as the night of final dissolution, and even the moon has begun to burn like the midday sun.

नए कोमल किसलय (नवपल्लव) मानो अग्नि के समान जलाते हैं, रात महाकाल की रात्रि-सी भयावह प्रतीत होती है, और चन्द्रमा भी सूर्य की भाँति ताप देने लगा है।
