पार्थ नैवेह नामुत्र विनाशस्तस्य विद्यते।
न हि कल्याणकृत्कश्चिद्दुर्गतिं तात गच्छति।।6.40।।

śrī bhagavānuvāca|
pārtha naiveha nāmutra vināśastasya vidyate|
na hi kalyāṇakṛtkaściddurgatiṃ tāta gacchati||6.40||
Simple transliteration
shri bhagavanuvaca
partha naiveha namutra vinashastasya vidyate
na hi kalyanakritkashciddurgatim tata gacchati6.40
Meaning
Meaning (English)

Krishna reassures: Neither in this world nor in the next is there destruction for one who does good. No one who strives for righteousness ever comes to a bad end. This is Krishna's guarantee.

Meaning (Hindi) · अर्थ

श्रीभगवान् बोले — हे पार्थ! उस पुरुष का न तो इस लोक में और न परलोक में नाश होता है। हे तात! शुभ कर्म करने वाला कभी दुर्गति को प्राप्त नहीं होता।
