(Complete Spiritual Guide — Garhwali Tradition)
The Panch Kedar are the five most sacred Shiva shrines in the Garhwal Himalaya, Uttarakhand.
According to Garhwali tradition, when the Pandavas sought Shiva's forgiveness after the Kurukshetra war,
Shiva took the form of a bull (Nandi) and disappeared into the ground.
Different parts of his body emerged at five different places — these became the Panch Kedar.
|| 1. Kedarnath — The Hump of Shiva (3,583 m) ||

Mandakini ke beech, himalaya ki shaan.
