Vishwakarma Aarti (ओम जय श्री विश्वकर्मा)

Om jai Shri Vishwakarma, prabhu jai Shri Vishwakarma; Sakal srishti ke karta, rakshak stuti dharma — Victory to you, Lord Vishwakarma! You are the creator of the entire universe, and the protector of dharma and of those who offer praise. (This is the refrain; wherever it recurs below it is simply repeated.) Aadi srishti mein vidhi ko, sristi-hetu prerit kar; Janak tum he aap, srishti rachna anupam dhar — At the very beginning of creation you inspired Brahma (Vidhi) to bring forth the cosmos. O Lord, you yourself are the progenitor (the original cause), and you fashioned this incomparable creation. Om jai Shri Vishwakarma — (refrain, repeated) Bhanu pratapi Vishwakarma, Vishwa-Brahma kahalaaye; Yantra-vahana-rath rachta, Trilok mein dhanya dhanya gaaye — Radiant as the sun, O Vishwakarma, you are called the Brahma (creator) of the world. You are the maker of machines, vehicles and chariots; all three worlds sing your glory, hailing you as blessed. Om jai Shri Vishwakarma — (refrain, repeated) Vajra Indra ka tumne ghadhaa, Vishnu chakra-sudarshan; Shiva-trishula bhi tumne diya, Surya rath chetan-bhushan — You forged Indra's thunderbolt (vajra) and made Vishnu's Sudarshan Chakra. You also bestowed Shiva's trident, and crafted the resplendent chariot of Surya (the Sun). Om jai Shri Vishwakarma — (refrain, repeated) Dwarka Lanka Indrapuri, Hastinapur Puri saari; Tumne hi yeh sab rachi, deva-nagar avadhaari — Dwarka, Lanka, Indrapuri (Amaravati) and Hastinapur — all these cities you alone created, and you also established the cities of the gods. Om jai Shri Vishwakarma — (refrain, repeated) Shilpi bhaiyon ke ho data, mistri lohaar sunaar; Sabhi karigaaron ke svaami, charana naveen sambhaar — You are the benefactor of the artisan brethren — the masons, blacksmiths and goldsmiths. You are the master of all craftsmen; devotees ever take fresh, reverent refuge at your feet. Om jai Shri Vishwakarma — (refrain, repeated) Tumhari kripa se yantra chalein, kaarkhaane khilte rahein; Bhakta ki vidya badhe, ghar-ghar man umang umange — By your grace may the machines keep running and the workshops keep flourishing. May the devotee's skill (vidya) grow, and may every home be filled with joyful zeal.
