You are the foremost among the ten Mahavidyas and the Goddess who destroys all enemies. Jai Jai Pitambara Mata. — (Refrain — repeated throughout the aarti) Peele Vastra Peele Phool, Pitambari Naam. / Shatruon Ko Stambhan Kare, Poore Sab Kaam. — The Mother wears yellow garments and yellow flowers are dear to her, which is why she is named Pitambari. She stuns and paralyses (stambhana) the power of enemies and fulfils all the tasks of her devotees. Holding a mace (gada) in her hand, the Mother destroys all enemies.
