यस्य नाहङ्कृतो भावो बुद्धिर्यस्य न लिप्यते।
हत्वापि स इमाँल्लोकान्न हन्ति न निबध्यते।।18.17।।
Roman (IAST)
yasya nāhaṅkṛto bhāvo buddhiryasya na lipyate|
hatvāpi sa imā~llokānna hanti na nibadhyate||18.17||
Simple transliteration
yasya nahankrito bhavo buddhiryasya na lipyate
hatvapi sa ima~llokanna hanti na nibadhyate18.17
Meaning
Meaning (English)

One who is free from the notion of ego, whose intellect is not tainted — even though killing these people, such a person neither kills nor is bound by the action.

जिस पुरुष में अहंकार का भाव नहीं है और बुद्धि किसी (गुण दोष) से लिप्त नहीं होती, वह पुरुष इन सब लोकों को मारकर भी वास्तव में न मरता है और न (पाप से) बँधता है।
