कर्मणः सुकृतस्याहुः सात्त्विकं निर्मलं फलम्। रजसस्तु फलं दुःखमज्ञानं तमसः फलम्।।14.16।।

karmaṇaḥ sukṛtasyāhuḥ sāttvikaṃ nirmalaṃ phalam| rajasastu phalaṃ duḥkhamajñānaṃ tamasaḥ phalam||14.16||
Simple transliteration
karmanah sukritasyahuh sattvikam nirmalam phalam rajasastu phalam duhkhamajnanam tamasah phalam14.16
Meaning
Meaning (English)
The fruit of sattvic action is pure and leads to goodness; the fruit of rajasic action is pain; and the fruit of tamasic action is ignorance.
