असंशयं महाबाहो मनो दुर्निग्रहं चलम्।
अभ्यासेन तु कौन्तेय वैराग्येण च गृह्यते।।6.35।।

asaṃśayaṃ mahābāho mano durnigrahaṃ calam|
abhyāsena tu kaunteya vairāgyeṇa ca gṛhyate||6.35||

Meaning
Meaning (English)

Krishna agrees: The mind is undoubtedly restless and difficult to control. However, through practice (abhyasa) and detachment (vairagya), it can be restrained.

श्रीभगवान् बोले — हे महाबाहो! निस्संदेह मन चंचल और कठिनता से वश में आने वाला है; परन्तु हे कौन्तेय, अभ्यास और वैराग्य से इसे वश किया जा सकता है।
