Meaning (English)
O lord, I am the brother of Ravana, born into the demon race, O protector of the gods. My body is by nature inclined to sin and shrouded in darkness — as an owl loves the dark.

हे नाथ! मैं दशानन का भाई हूँ और राक्षस कुल में जन्मा हूँ। हे देवताओं की रक्षा करने वाले! स्वभाव से पाप-प्रिय और तमोगुणी शरीर है — जैसे उल्लू को अंधकार प्रिय होता है।
