छं. मामभिरक्षय रघुकुल नायक। धृत बर चाप रुचिर कर सायक ॥ मोह महा घन पटल प्रभंजन। संसय बिपिन अनल सुर रंजन ॥ १ ॥ अगुन सगुन गुन मंदिर सुंदर। भ्रम तम प्रबल प्रताप दिवाकर ॥ काम क्रोध मद गज पंचानन। बसहु निरंतर जन मन कानन ॥ २ ॥ बिषय मनोरथ पुंज कंज बन। प्रबल तुषार उदार पार मन ॥ भव बारिधि मंदर परमं दर। बारय तारय संसृति दुस्तर ॥ ३ ॥ स्याम गात राजीव बिलोचन। दीन बंधु प्रनतारति मोचन ॥ अनुज जानकी सहित निरंतर। बसहु राम नृप मम उर अंतर ॥ ४ ॥ मुनि रंजन महि मंडल मंडन। तुलसिदास प्रभु त्रास बिखंडन ॥ ५ ॥ दो. नाथ जबहिं कोसलपुरीं होइहि तिलक तुम्हार। कृपासिंधु मैं आउब देखन चरित उदार ॥ ११५ ॥

Shiva sang his hymn of praise: 'Protect me, O chief of Raghu's line, bearing the lovely bow and arrows in your hands. You are the mighty wind that tears apart the thick cloud-mass of delusion, the fire that burns the forest of doubt, the joy of the gods. You are the beautiful dwelling of both formless and formed virtues, the blazing sun of glory that destroys the darkness of illusion — be the lion that slays the elephants of lust, wrath, and pride and dwell forever in the forest of your devotees' hearts. You are the fierce frost that withers the lotuses of sense-longing; you are the Mount Meru churning the ocean of worldly existence — save me from this impassable cycle of birth and death. O dark-limbed, lotus-eyed, friend of the humble, reliever of the refugee's suffering — dwell always within my heart along with Janaki and Lakshman.' Then Shiva, referencing the poet, says: 'O Tulasidas's lord, destroyer of fear, ornament of the earth — when your coronation takes place in Koshalapuri, O ocean of compassion, I shall surely come to witness that glorious celebration.'
शिवजी ने छंदों में स्तुति की: हे रघुकुल के नायक, हाथ में सुन्दर धनुष-बाण धारण करने वाले, मेरी रक्षा करो। आप मोह-रूपी घने मेघ-पटल को छिन्न करने वाले, संशय-रूपी वन को जलाने वाली अग्नि के समान हैं और देवों को आनन्द देने वाले हैं। आप निर्गुण और सगुण दोनों के सुन्दर गुण-मन्दिर हैं, भ्रम-रूपी अन्धकार को नष्ट करने वाले प्रचण्ड प्रताप-दिनकर हैं। काम, क्रोध और मद-रूपी गजों के लिए पंचानन (सिंह) हैं — भक्तों के मन-वन में निरन्तर निवास करें। विषय-रूपी कमल-वन के लिए प्रबल तुषार हैं; संसार-रूपी समुद्र के मन्थन के लिए मन्दराचल के समान हैं — इस दुस्तर संसृति से मेरा उद्धार करें। हे श्यामगात, कमलनयन, दीनबन्धु, शरणागत की पीड़ा दूर करने वाले — जानकी और लक्ष्मण सहित सदा मेरे हृदय में निवास करें। हे मुनि-वर, पृथ्वीमण्डल-भूषण, तुलसीदास के त्रास-विनाशक प्रभु — जब कोसलपुरी में आपका राजतिलक हो तो मैं अवश्य आकर उस उदार चरित को देखूँगा।
