Om Jai Lakshmi Mata, Maiya Jai Lakshmi Mata. — Victory to you, Mother Lakshmi; hail to you, beloved Mother. (This is the refrain of the aarti, repeated after each verse.) Tumko Nishidin Sevat, Hari Vishnu Vidhata. — Even Lord Hari (Vishnu) and Brahma, the creator of the universe, serve and worship you day and night. Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain, repeated) Uma, Rama, Brahmani, Tum Hi Jag-Mata. Maiya Tum Hi Jag-Mata. — You yourself are Uma (Parvati), Rama (a form of Lakshmi) and Brahmani; O Mother, you alone are the Mother of the whole world. Surya-Chandrama Dhyavat, Narad Rishi Gata. — The Sun and the Moon meditate upon you, and the sage Narada sings your glory. Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain) Durga Roop Niranjani, Sukh Sampatti Data. Maiya Sukh Sampatti Data. — You are the pure, blemishless form of Durga; you are the giver of happiness and prosperity. Jo Koi Tumko Dhyata, Riddhi-Siddhi Dhan Pata. — Whoever meditates upon you attains riddhi (abundance), siddhi (spiritual attainment) and wealth. Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain) Tum Patal-Nivasini, Tum Hi Shubhdata. Maiya Tum Hi Shubhdata. — You dwell even in the nether world Patal (you pervade all realms); you alone are the bestower of all that is auspicious. Karm-Prabhav-Prakashini, Bhavnidhi Ki Trata. — You reveal the fruits and effect of karma, and you are the deliverer who rescues us across the ocean of worldly existence (bhavnidhi). Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain) Jis Ghar Mein Tum Rehtin, Sab Sadgun Aata. Maiya Sab Sadgun Aata. — In whichever home you reside, all virtues come of their own accord. Sab Sambhav Ho Jata, Man Nahi Ghabrata. — By your grace everything becomes possible, and the mind never grows anxious or afraid. Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain) Tum Bin Yagya Na Hote, Vastra Na Koi Pata. Maiya Vastra Na Koi Pata. — Without you no sacrificial rite (yagya) can be performed, nor can anyone obtain clothing (or worldly sustenance). Khan-Pan Ka Vaibhav, Sab Tumse Aata. — All the abundance of food and drink comes from you alone. Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain) Shubh-Gun Mandir Sundar, Kshirodadhi-Jata. Maiya Kshirodadhi-Jata. — You are the beautiful temple (abode) of all auspicious virtues; you arose from the churning of the Ocean of Milk (Kshir Sagar). Ratan Chaturdash Tum Bin, Koi Nahi Pata. — Without you, no one can obtain the fourteen jewels (that emerged from the churning of the ocean). Om Jai Lakshmi Mata. — (refrain) Mahalakshmi Ji Ki Aarti, Jo Koi Jan Gata. Maiya Jo Koi Jan Gata. — Whoever sings this aarti of Mahalakshmi Ji with devotion— Ur Anand Samata, Paap Utar Jata. — their heart is filled with bliss, and their sins fall away. Sarva Bhuta Hitarthaya, Vasu Srishtim Sada Kuru. — O Padmalaya (one who dwells in the lotus), salutations to you; O Sarvada (giver of all things), salutations to you.
