sunahu pavanasuta rahani hamari jimi dasananhi maha~ jibha bicari tata kabahu~ mohi jani anatha karihahim kripa bhanukula natha 1
Meaning (English)
Vibhishana said — O son of the wind, hear the condition of my life here: it is like that of a helpless tongue surrounded on all sides by teeth. O dear friend, will the Lord of the solar dynasty, Shree Rama, ever show compassion on me, knowing me to be utterly without refuge?
Meaning (Hindi) · भावार्थ
विभीषण जी बोले — हे पवनपुत्र! सुनो, इस लंका में मेरी स्थिति वैसी ही है जैसे दाँतों के बीच बेचारी जीभ की होती है। हे तात! कभी मुझ अनाथ को जानकर क्या सूर्यकुल के स्वामी श्री राम जी मुझ पर कृपा करेंगे?
