प्रभु प्रताप मैं जाब सुखाई। उतरिहि कटकु न मोरि बड़ाई॥ प्रभु अग्या अपेल श्रुति गाई। करौं सो बेगि जौ तुम्हहि सोहाई॥४॥

prabhu pratāpa maiṃ jāba sukhāī| utarihi kaṭaku na mori baḍa़āī|| prabhu agyā apela śruti gāī| karauṃ so begi jau tumhahi sohāī||4||

Meaning (English)
By your glory I shall dry up and the army will cross — but that will be no greatness of mine. The Lord's command is inviolable and beyond all appeal (अपेल), as the Vedas themselves sing; whatever pleases you, I shall do at once.

आपके प्रताप से मैं सूख जाऊँगा और सेना पार उतरेगी, किंतु यह मेरी महत्ता नहीं होगी। प्रभु की आज्ञा अपेल (अनुल्लंघनीय / जिस पर कोई अपील नहीं) है — ऐसा वेदों ने गाया है; जो आपको सोहाए वह मैं शीघ्र करूँ।
