Who creates VedKosh
VedKosh is built by a small independent team devoted to authentic Hindu devotional and Vedic content. Every page is either composed from primary scriptural sources or produced by our deterministic calculation engines — nothing is outsourced to content farms.
Sources we rely on
Scriptural content is verified against the original Sanskrit sources — the Vedas, Puranas, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana and classical Jyotisha texts such as the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. For interpretation we recommend only public-domain classical commentaries (Adi Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Madhvacharya, Vallabhacharya). Panchang data follows generic Vedic Panchang computation (IST); we never reproduce content from commercial publishers.
How our calculations work
All astrology tools run on VedKosh's own deterministic engine: planetary positions from the open-source astronomy-engine library, the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsha, whole-sign houses with a Sripati chalit cross-check, and birth-place-correct historical timezones. The engine is guarded by 725+ automated checks, including classical worked examples and astronomical invariants. Every convention is disclosed on the tool page itself.
Independent review
Every page that is added or changed passes an independent quality audit by a separate reviewer covering scriptural authenticity, language quality in every script we serve, cultural policy and technical correctness. A page ships only after it passes.
Use of AI
Calculations are pure mathematics — never AI. AI is used only for clearly separated, optional summaries (such as the personality note in the Kundali report) and the clearly-labelled VedAI chat. AI text never silently mixes into scriptural or computed content.
Corrections
Found an error? Write to contact@vedkosh.com. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours; verified errors are fixed promptly and the page's last-updated date reflects the change.
What we never do
No fabricated ratings or reviews. No fear-based astrology or pressure to buy remedies. No reproduction of copyrighted modern works. VedKosh is a Hindu devotional platform and stays fully within that scope.
