Vaishakh Skanda Sashti 2026 falls on April 25 (Vaishakh Shukla Sashti). Lord Kartikeya (also called Skanda, Murugan, Subrahmanya, Shanmukha — the six-faced one) is worshipped as the divine war commander who led the gods to victory over the demon Tarakasura.
