Verse 1
Born from the womb of Earth, radiant like lightning, holding the power (Shakti) in his hand โ I bow to Mangal Dev.
Verse 2
Dressed in red, of red hue, adorned with red ornaments โ O Mangal, always protect those drowning in debt and fearing poverty.
Verse 3
Red-complexioned, red-eyed, compassionate to devotees โ O Mangal born of Earth, grant liberation from debt.
Verse 4
Mounted on a ram, guardian of dharma, wielding trident and Shakti โ O Mangal Graha, remove my debt, sin, and poverty.
