Chhinnamasta Jayanti falls on Vaishakh Shukla Chaturdashi (April 30, 2026 — same day as Narasimha Jayanti). Maa Chhinnamasta is worshipped primarily by Shakta tantriks and those on the path of Vamachara. She is depicted standing on the copulating couple Rati-Kama, holding her own severed head, drinking the stream of blood from her own neck. This symbolizes transcendence beyond bodily desires. Rituals for general devotees: Red flower offerings, recitation of Chhinnamasta Kavacham, Chhinnamasta Ashtottara, and Dasha Mahavidya Stotram. Light incense sticks (dhoop) and red candles.
