Vaikasi Visakam 2026 falls during the Visakha nakshatra in the Tamil month of Vaikasi (verify exact date with Tamil panchangam). Lord Murugan (also called Kartikeya, Skanda, Shanmukha — the six-faced one) is the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati, and the divine commander of the heavenly army.
