Rishi Panchami falls on Bhadrapada Shukla Panchami (5th day of bright fortnight). Devotees, especially women, worship the Saptarishis (seven sages) and observe a special fast for purity and divine blessings.

ऋषि पंचमी भाद्रपद शुक्ल पंचमी को मनाई जाती है। भक्त, विशेषकर महिलाएं, सप्तऋषियों की पूजा करती हैं और पवित्रता तथा दैवीय आशीर्वाद के लिए व्रत रखती हैं।
