Significance
Located near the ancient city of Dwarka, associated with Lord Krishna. The temple houses a massive 25-meter statue of Lord Shiva. Believed to protect devotees from all poisons.
Legend & History
A merchant named Supriya was captured by demon Daruka and imprisoned. Supriya meditated on Shiva, who appeared and killed the demon. Shiva then resided there as Nageshwar, the lord who protects from serpents and all toxins.
