Thursday Tarpan Method

Bathe in the morning and wear clean clothes.

Sit facing south.

Mix water, black sesame seeds, and barley in a copper vessel.

Offer water while taking ancestors' names, saying "Amukasya tarpayami."

On Thursday, also offer yellow flowers and banana with the tarpan.

Chant Brihaspati mantra — ॐ बृं बृहस्पतये नमः — 21 times.
