Sri Suktam — The Gold Standard for Wealth

Sri Suktam is found in the appendix of the Rigveda and is dedicated to Maa Shri (Lakshmi). Its 16 mantras form a complete "wealth kavach" — a framework to attract wealth, retain it and use it for spiritual purpose.

Purification

Purify puja space with cow dung or Gangajal. Place Maa facing North or North-East.

Sankalpa

"Through Sri Suktam recitation, for Maa Lakshmi's grace and wealth-prosperity" — take sankalpa.

Pushpanjali Method

Offer one lotus with each mantra. 16 mantras = 16 flowers.

Ghrita Deepa

Light a 5-wick ghee lamp — do not let it extinguish during the recitation.

Samarpan

After recitation, say "Idam na mama" and offer fruit-naivedya to Maa.
