Milk Kheer
Time: 30 min โ Most beloved bhog of Lakshmi Ji
Ingredients
- โข1 litre full-fat milk
- โข3-4 tbsp rice
- โข3-4 tbsp sugar
- โข1 tsp cardamom powder
- โขSaffron (optional)
- โขChopped cashews and almonds
Method
- 1.Boil milk and add rice
- 2.Cook on low heat stirring continuously
- 3.Add sugar, cardamom and saffron
- 4.Cook until thick
- 5.Cool and offer as bhog

Coconut Ladoo
Time: 20 min โ Lakshmi bhog โ white colour
Ingredients
- โข2 cups fresh coconut shavings
- โข1 cup sugar or mawa
- โข2 tbsp ghee
- โข1 tsp cardamom
Method
- 1.Roast coconut shavings golden in ghee
- 2.Add sugar and cook briefly
- 3.Mix in cardamom
- 4.Shape into ladoos when slightly cool

Suji Halwa
Time: 15 min โ Fast and udyapan bhog
Ingredients
- โข1 cup semolina (suji)
- โข3/4 cup sugar
- โข3 tbsp ghee
- โข2.5 cups water
- โขCardamom, raisins, cashews
Method
- 1.Roast semolina golden in ghee
- 2.Add hot water gradually
- 3.Mix sugar and cardamom
- 4.Cook and garnish with dry fruits

Makhana Kheer
Time: 25 min โ Ekadashi and Friday fast
Ingredients
- โข1 cup makhana (fried)
- โข1 litre milk
- โข2-3 tsp sugar
- โขCardamom and saffron
- โขPistachio slivers
Method
- 1.Thicken milk by boiling
- 2.Add fried makhana
- 3.Mix sugar, cardamom, saffron
- 4.Garnish with pistachio and offer as bhog
Bhog Offering Rules
- โAlways offer bhog in a clean vessel
- โWash hands before placing bhog
- โPlace tulsi or flower on the bhog vessel
- โDo not disturb for 2-11 minutes after placing bhog
- โDistribute prasad among family after bhog
