Akshaya Tritiya Gold Stapana Vidhi
Gold bought on Akshaya Tritiya creates indestructible (akshaya) wealth only when properly "installed" (stapana), not just stored. April 24 2026 (Friday, Bagalamukhi Jayanti) is especially auspicious for this installation.
Correct Direction — As Per Vastu
NE (Ishan / North-East)
Best — corner of the gods. For wealth and auspiciousness.
North
Excellent — direction of Kubera. For wealth growth.
East
Acceptable — direction of the Sun. Energy and prosperity.
South / West
Forbidden — direction of Yama/Varuna. Causes wealth loss.
Stapana Vidhi — 6 Steps
Purification
Wash the gold with Gangajal or rose water. Wipe dry with white cloth.
Puja Thali
Place thali on red or yellow cloth. Prepare haldi-kumkum, akshat, flowers.
Maa Lakshmi Invocation
"Om Shrim Hrim Shrim Mahalakshmyai Namah" — say 21 times.
Tilak
Apply haldi-kumkum tilak on the gold. Offer akshat.
Stapana Mantra
"Om Yakshaya Kuberaya Vaishravanaya Dhanadhanyaadhipataye Dhanadhanyasamriddhim Me Dehi Dapaya Svaha" — while placing gold in the NE corner.
Wrapping
Wrap in red cloth and place in the NE corner safe/drawer.
